FamousLocations: Find Out Where Movies Were Filmed

If you ever wonder where your favorite TV shows or movies were filmed, FamousLocations is the place where you can find it out. It is a wiki style website that combines Google Maps with the geographic locations of where movies were filmed. Most of the data (location info, images and videos) on the site was contributed by dedicated community of fans.

There are three ways you can search the site:

  1. Search on a map, simply click on any location and the site will display all entries related to that place.
  2. Search by zip code, city, town and area.
  3. Search by movie title, TV show or actor’s name.

Clicking on a particular movie title brings up a page with a list of locations along with the map and related images.

The site is completely free and there is no registration needed for searching and browsing, the sign up is only required if you are willing to contribute.
