FairShare: Find Out Who Is Stealing Your Content
Its frustrating when you spend so much time writing an article or a blog post and then see it shamelessly copied by some other site without proper attribution. FairShare is a free service that lets you claim your work (poems, articles, blog posts etc) online, declare how you want to share it and find how others are using it.

It scans your site’s RSS feed and searches more than 35 billion blog and web pages to find if someone reused your content and if the copied content meets your minimum attribution requirements. Currently service covers text content with support for videos and images promised soon.
How it works?
- Enter your RSS feed and the select a license under which you want to share your content, or not share at all.
- Provide your email to confirm your account.
- Get FairShare RSS feed.
- Wait till it scans sites and blogs for your content (Can take up to 8 hours).
- View sites that are reused your content through a provided Fairshare RSS feed.
Service works best for English language texts and supports major European languages and even works for static sites. It is totally free but has limitations on the amount of content you can add. To lift the limits, get an Enterprise paid subscription account.
