Evernote, the popular note-taking application, recently introduced the Evernote Trunk, a showcase of cool applications built using the Evernote API. Since Evernote is a multi-platform tool and has versions for Windows, Mac, mobile phones and of course the web, the applications featured aren’t limited to just the desktop or web either. In fact, you’ll also find sections called “Hardware” and “Evernote Gear” that feature some nice Evernote based hardware tools and gear.

There are almost 100 items in the Trunk at the moment, and you can install them directly into your Evernote using the Trunk icon in the menu. There are tools like Seesmic that let you save text to Evernote directly from Twitter and Facebook, Eye-Fi to wirelessly send photos from your camera to Evernote, Nitro PDF reader and many more.
Features
- A collection of Evernote evernote tools and addons
- Almost 100 items available.
- Divided into Mobile, Desktop & Web, Hardware, Gear, and Notebooks.
- Get them directly through the Trunk icon in your Evernote.

I actually love Evernote, the amount of times I’ve found myself without a pen or paper to write things down and I’ve had to use Evernote instead are infinite and so now that there are all of these cool add-ons for it, it’s only become even better!
