Want to quickly check if the domain name is available while on the go? Check out DomTxt. This handy website provides you with a simple way to check domain availability directly from a mobile phone. Text the domain name you want to lookup to 41411 and see whether the domain is available.

It’s very simple, too simple for me.
I asked for a .net domain and it checked for .com
Not usefull.

Hi @John Greer,

Thanks for trying out the service. It is VERY raw at this point, and it only works for .com domains. I chose to only launch with .com domains because most people use .coms for their primary business or personal websites.

I’ll be expanding it soon, but I wanted to get something out there so people could try it and see if the service could gain some traction.
