CollabSpot Insights: View Highrise Information Of Contacts Alongside Gmail [5 Free Licenses]

Today numerous websites offer Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions. These sites let you easily manage the information of your clients along with various details of your business with them. Generally the information stored covers contact information, possibly bio details, notes, and details of your business deals with them. All of this information needs to be kept in mind while you are interacting with your customers.

Therefore when your employees respond to the emails of customers, they have their CRM interface opened in another window to access customer’s information and respond accordingly. However an integration of the CRM and email interface would prove to be very helpful and productive. Fortunately for Google Chrome users, here to help do that for Gmail and Highrise is a tool called CollabSpot Insights.

Highrise is an online CRM solution that is highly popular. If you are a Highrise user and you use Gmail to interact with your customers, you will highly benefit from CollabSpot Insights – this is a browser extension that makes customer information from Highrise available whenever you are reading their messages in Gmail. You begin by installing the extension onto Chrome and then providing access to the extension by giving it your Highrise authentication token. From then on, the customer information appears in the right pane of Gmail each time you are reading email from a customer.

You can view all sorts of information – customer contact information, latest activities, deals, cases, etc. This helps you quickly learn where you left off with the customer or where your business with the customer currently stands. New information about your customer can also be added from the same sidebar window. In case the email’s sender has not been added to your Highrise, you can do so from the same CollabSpot Insights right pane sidebar.

After using the trial of Collabspot Insights, I found out this extension can positively enhance your workflow. The extension could use some UX attention, but the functionality is certainly imporiving over time.

Love Highrise, and now I don’t want to switch.

It is not perfect, but it constantly improves (which is perfection in my eyes). One thing that frustrated me is that I had no way to search for “Contacts” and “Companies” that did not have a task associated with them.

This effectively meant that if I failed to assign a task to a Contact when I was working with them inside the application, they just sat there. Amidst all the others. Virtually gone forever.

So, our team at BusinessFrame whipped up a tool to ping the Highrise API to do it for us.

Now anyone can use it for free: https://highrise.businessframe.com

Try it. It helps your experience with Highrise to be even more positive.
