Just a few days back I mentioned about Budurl which is a url shortener with nice tracking features. And then I came across another such tool called Cligs, which proposes to do the same job albeit with more impressive tracking features. The most interesting feature of this tool is that you can create unlimited number of cligs pointing to the same url. Hence if you want to compare traffic to a post from two sources ( ex – Twitter and Plurk ), you can create two different cligs for the same post and then track and analyze the traffic which reaches the post by clicking on those cligs. Cool !

You get the following analytics with a free cligs account.
- Total number of hits
- Referral statistics
- Recent mentions of the clig itself on twitter
- Recent links (mentions) of the clig on blogs
- Recent web links to the clig
- Recent mentions of the destination URL on twitter
- Recent blog links to the destination
- Recent web links to the destination
- Delicious bookmarks of the destination
- Total number of links to the destination
