CleanScores: Avoid Dirty Restaurants In Your Area

If you are planning to dine at one of the local restaurants for the first time and worried how it stands in terms of hygiene and sanitation, CleanScores can help you find it out. It rates restaurants based on the scores given by local health inspectors. The site currently gathers data for over 200,000 restaurants across a number of US regions (San Francisco CA, Florida, King County WA, LA County CA, New York NY, San Bernardino CA and Tennessee).

You can search the website by restaurant name or location (address, city, state or zip code). You may also browser restaurants alphabetically. Clicking on a particular restaurant shows its address, location on a Google Map and the results of the inspections. The cleanest restaurants are awarded five stars.

This information has been available for Philadelphia at http://donteatthere.org for a while now. In addition to health inspection reports, they even provide links to lookup the restaurant on Yelp, MenuPages and Google, including Maps!
