Email’s still the backbone of person-to-person communication on the Internet, but it has certain limitations. For example, if you want to share a document with the world you need to know the entire world’s email address to send it to them.
Enter CCEverybody. This web service will give you a @cceverybody.com email address you can CC any email to. When you do CC an email to this service it will be put onto the World Wide Web for everyone to see. The service also allows people to contact you online, giving you the opportunity to have a conversation in the public eye. The advantage of having such a conversation? The anonymous masses that make up the Internet can contribute, giving you help from all over the world.

Here’s how it works: sign up for the service and you’ll get a confirmation email. You now have a page at cceverybody.com. People who find this site can write you emails that will be public, but that you will get in your inbox. Your personal email address is hidden. If you want an email conversation you’re currently part of to become public all you need to do is include your CCEveryone email address in the thread. Your friend’s responses will not be made public until they confirm they want them to be so.
How you use this is up to you, but needless the say the service is a great way to turn email into a social network. Once you’ve got CCEverybody set up you’ll practically never need to go to their site; everything can be done from email. Crowd-sourcing can work for you, so give it a shot!

- Share any email with the entire web by adding a single email address
- Receive feedback from the anonymous hoards that make up the Internet
- Integrates perfectly into your existing email life.
