Eat Different is a free to use web service that helps you cut back on specific food types. You start by creating a new account or simply by signing in through your Facebook account. Next you specify which food types you would like to cut back on. These include added sugars, grains, dairy, etc. Next you specify which times you would like to update your measurements.

Whenever you update your measurements, you can add a photo and your weight along with marking how well you did with your food goals that day. Your data is collected and your progress is made visible over the course of time.

Dieting is hard. No one likes having to eat less than they want, but if you want to lose weight, it is the only way. The hardest part is controlling those midday stacks. When the mood to have a little snack strikes, you might want to check out Deappetizer to make you feel a little less hungry. Basically, it shows you food related images that are pretty gross. There are three levels of images, with each one getting grosser. The idea is to curb your appetite by making you feel a little disgusted by food.

There is a great variety of images ranging from pig heads on a stick to nuts and strawberries that looks like roaches. BiteHunter is a handy web service which gathers daily deals, discounts on different restaurants, coupons and more. The website is integrated with Google Maps and displays daily deals on the map, so you can see whether any restaurant in your area is offering something special (e.g discounts, offers, etc) or not.

TVFoodMaps is an excellent website which can help you find the restaurants they show on different TV shows on the Food Network and Travel Channel such as Man v. Food, The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Meat and Potatoes and more. You can get addresses and directions to the restaurants you want to try and more.

To manage the lists of restaurants, you must register for a free account. Once signed up, you can create a list of restaurants you have visited, whether you like them or not, and create try lists which contains restaurants you want to try in the future in different states. To find the location of the restaurant simply find the show you watch, select the location and get the address.

If you are travelling to another state, you can check out TVFoodMap’s Road Trip planner which shows you the restaurants that will come your way.
