People say that playing games on an iPad is an entirely different experience than doing it on a computer. And it looks like the fun isn’t just limited to humans. This iPad app called Games for Cats actually has games for cats. They say that the iPad screen can easily tolerate your cat’s claws and hence there’s no reason why humans should have all the fun.

So this app has some cool HTML 5 games which have been built after a lot of researching and testing so that the cats actually enjoy it even though humans might not.

The homepage of the site has some games listed on the sidebar with “play in browser” links to let users try it out (or I should say let their cats try it out) before going about installing the app from the App Store. The games work well on the iOS Safari browser.

Decide-o-tron is a free to use iOS application compatible with iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad running iOS version 4.1 or later. Optionally you can include games from your wishlist – a list of games that the app helps you maintain.

Puzzle Man: Play Puzzle Games On iPhone

If you have always liked arranging the bits and pieces of a puzzle to see what the final picture looks like, then you might want to check out this app called Puzzle Man for your iPhone/iPod touch. It’s an iPhone app variant of the cardboard puzzles where you join segments to complete the image. Double tap a piece to rotate it, zoom in and out, drag and align them to each other and preview the final image to know what you are aiming for. The app is free to use and is around 16MB in size.

The official screenshots of the app on the iTunes page show the options in Spanish so there may not be an English version available. The game is pretty easy to understand and get started with though, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

There always seem to be a love-hate relationship when we study Math. But for those who do love Math, MathRun is a fun website that lets you get math practice & test your speed and skills in mathematics. The objective of the game is to quickly answer whether the equations shown are correct or incorrect as they roll up the screen.

To play the game, use the arrow keys on your keyboard to indicate whether an equation is right or wrong. Similar to a brick game, you need to answer each equation before it reaches the top. Your Brainspeed and the numbers of equations solved are shown on top of the screen. As the game progresses to a higher level, every right answer also raises your Brainspeed.
