Alertful is a free to use website that helps you set up email reminders. The site does not ask you to register for an account. It gets right down to business. You can click on one of the pre-defined reminders on the site or create your custom reminder. The reminder interface lets you name the reminder, set up a reminder date, enter your email address, set up the reminder frequency, set your time zone, and enter some text to go in the email.

With these options set all you have to do is enter the verification code and click on the “Submit” button. With these simple steps you can set up an email reminder for any event or task with your preferred frequency. If you feel you have selected a frequency that is too high ““ in other words if you are getting too many emails ““ you can simply click on the “Unsubscribe” link in the email and stop the reminders.

To send a location to a friend, you need to add your friend’s number or email on your contact list. Then pick a location on the map and write a message to your friend and send it.
