Zvents: Find Events in Your Area

A lot of websites allow you to search and find events in your area, but few are as comprehensive and global as Zvents. To find events in the area, all you have to do is set your location (ex. London, UK or Chicago, IL). Once it’s done go ahead and start browsing through local event listings by categories like music, performing arts e.t.c.

With Zvents you can also filter local events by time (Today, Tomorrow or Next 7 days), check events in the nearby cities or see which events have been added recently. Many events have direct links to Ticketmaster or other similar websites in case you decide to purchase the tickets online. When you click on an event for further details, Zvents not only shows the detail for the event but also allows you to go directly to the event’s website or add the event date to your online calendar like Google, Yahoo, AOL or Outlook.

TicketStumbler, as the title says, is a website where you can find, buy and compare sports tickets. It basically searches through ticket listings from brokers and ticket exchanges across the internet and then help you find the best tickets at best prices.

It’s interface and presentation style would remind you of a similar service named BandsInTown which we covered some time back. TicketStumbler currently covers the following sports events : -

NFL
MLB
NCAA Football
NLH
NBA

You can find tickets by typing in the name of venue, event, team or the place. It also lets you set the price and find the tickets which fall in the desired price range by using a slider.
