BookMooch : Exchange Your Books

BookMooch is a community-powered website where members can exchange books they have for the books they want. Unlike other similar sites, BookMooch has rather large and active user base.

Feature Overview

• Browse books gallery: by book title, by topic (business, health, investment, technology, programming, self development, etc.), by country, and by book language.
• Lists over 400.000 books.
• In order to get books from others, you need to earn BookMooch points. Points can be earned by: 1. listing books you want to giveaway, 2. sending your books to someone who wants it, and 3. leaving feedback for each received book.
• Mochbar (Browser Addon): Found cool book on Amazon? Check if it’s listed on the BookMooch right from the browser toolbar. If it does, you can “mooch” (request) the book, and if it doesn’t, you can add it to your wishlist, to be notified when it becomes available. Read more.
