[...] BlogBackUpOnline: Fully automated online service that offers an easy way to store and schedule article backups on a daily basis. Please note, BlogBackUpOnline backups only your blog posts and comments, it doesn’t and can’t back up all plugin-related database data (ex. article views, user ratings etc.). It comes in really handy when you need to quickly export your posts and comments from one blog to another or restore mistakenly deleted article. In a way it’s similar to wordpress export function, but runs automatically. It takes around a minute to set-up and can run without your intervention. More on Blog Backup Online [...]
Thanks for your post and your tools
BlogBackupOnline should be banned! A couple of days ago some idiot was about to sell my blog’s database on Digital Point, thanks to this service. You can backup anyone’s blog without their permission, and restore the data anywhere (on any blog) you want. One could make a clone of this blog in just 5 minutes! So, you still think this is good service?
Didn’t see it your way. I completely agree, some kind of ownership verification process is a must-have feature.
There is a new blog backup service at http://blogbackupr.com
[...] Blogbackupr is a web-based backup sevice for blogs. It takes less then a minute to setup and can automatically backup all blog artciles and comments on a daily basis. It also comes with one-click restore functionality. The only problem, it requires your blog login details. And while this may not be a big issue for small personal blogs, for bigger ones it defintiely is. Nonetheless we still tested it on one of our personal blogs and everything worked fine. Another similar service is BlogBackupOnline. [...]
