BackType: Search and Follow Blog Comments

BackType is a web based service which helps users find, follow and share blog comments from across the web. There are two things you can do here: search through blog comments from all over the web and track comments left by individual people.

This sevice shouldn’t be confused with comment notifier and tracking services like co.mments. Instead this is a comment aggregator which aggregates all your comments on different blogs and websites at one place, automatically.

If you make comments on different sites by a particular name and url, they will be aggregated by Backtype. However, if you use different urls while commenting then you can sign up and claim your account with Backtype and get all your comments at one place.

BackType also shows the top comments and top commentators from around the web. You can follow a commentator, share a comment or even reply to a comment on the original blog or site directly from the BackType website. Pretty cool feature.
