BabyNameMap: Baby Name Popularity Map

Baby Name Map is a nice Google Maps mashup built by Guy Davis, who as a father-to-be couldn’t find a good site showing popularity of baby names around the world. Hence he created this site which currently features over 100,000 unique names from 14 different countries.

You can find both boys’ and girls’ names, common and uncommon. Click on a point in the map to see the names, view names in the order of popularity and ratings, share them via email, view comments by other users and more. Certainly a useful service for new parents.
