There are various clipboard managers that help you add to the functionality of the system clipboard. Mostly, these management applications let you save all the items you have copied to the clipboard. You can then re-copy those items to the clipboard to use them whenever you want. But what if you want to paste all of the copied items someplace in the order that they were copied?
To accomplish this, you will need to have a tool that appends your copied text to the previously copied text on the system clipboard. While a desktop app that lets you do this across all applications might not yet be available, here to offer you the function on Firefox is a tool called Append to Clipboard.
Append to Clipboard is a free to use to browser tool that is compatible with Mozilla Firefox web browsers. With the add-on installed, you can highlight any text on one of the webpages open in Firefox and append it to the system clipboard. All you have to do is highlight the text and right click on it; then you select the “Append to Clipboard” option from the resulting menu. This menu option is enabled only when there is some existing text copied to the clipboard.
You can keep on appending text to the clipboard, then when you paste the text anyplace, you will find the text shown in the same order that you had copied it.
