If you have reformated your computer in the past, you would know that the process requires considerable amount of time and effort. It is an online service that lets you quickly build a list of your favorite programs and then install them onto your computer all at once.

    Does it allow also to personalise the installation ? (e.g. to change the default output folder, or, more interesting, to not allow software to install additional toolbars, or to change your homepage (as Yahoo Messenger tries to do when you install it in express way)).

    My question would be exactly the same. I tried Ninite, and personally found it sucky just because of the “automatically install All with ALL default” way it does what it does. What I’d like is do have AllMyApps or Ninite download all the installers I want (e.g. overnight) and then I’d prefer to install them one-by-one so that I can set the programs up the way I want to…
