AlbumSpotter is another web service for staying updated on latest albums or singles from your favorite artists. It is in a way similar to previously reviewed websites (Blyper, Feedrevolution, Albumreminder and Muspy) and has one cool additional feature. Not only you can check for latest stuff from a single artist but also upload your entire iTunes library and check for new releases from the list of artists in your library.

To check for the latest albums from a single artist/band, simply enter the name of the artist and hit “Check”

To check your entire music library, simply upload a .xml file with your music library (usually can be export from you music player). Then Album Spotter will analyze the library and tell you if you have latest albums from the artists in your library. The latest albums are highlighted in green or grey. Green means you already have the latest albums and grey means you don’t.
