Sometimes all you want is a brief overview of what a website is about. The traditional way to get website information is to go to the actual website and skim through their “About Us” page. Well, now there is a quicker and easier way to do so. AboutUS.org is a wiki based guide to all websites that gives you an overview of the website including the Title, Description, A snapshot of the homepage and the primary website owner information. All you need to do is to enter the website name or the URL in the search box and click Find.
Below is a screenshot of the information they have indexed for MakeUseOf.com. (We deliberately removed some of the ifo due to prvacy concerns).

Moreover, since it is a Wiki, you also have an option to edit the information about your website if you think something is inaccurate or inappropriate. However, just like Wikipedia they do require you to register before you can edit any page.
Some other features include:
- Single click retrieval of website information from third party services like Compete.com.
- Option of upgrading your website page from Basic (Free) to Spotlight (Paid) for greater visibility.
- Create a watch list to keep track of changes to a certain page.
- Share the information across major social networks.
