If you thought Razer's CES 2020 "Razer E-racing Sim" was pretty zany, then you're going to love the new concept gaming chair the company unveiled at CES 2021.

Razer dubs it Project Brooklyn and, judging from the pictures, it isn't totally inconceivable as a product, either.

Razer Project Brooklyn Concept Gaming Chair

As CES hits its second day, we see a wave of exciting new announcements. Razers Project Brooklyn is one such unveiling, alongside its concept facemask (yes, you read that correctly).

Project Brooklyn is the codename given to Razer's concept gaming chair. Given that this is still at concept stage, all we have to go on is a description of the concept from Razer and some renders of the chair.

Boy, are those renders breathtaking, though. If you thought gaming chairs had reached some sort of zenith in comfort and convenience, then think again, because Project Brooklyn is here to shake up the whole sitting-down game.

What Is So Good About the Project Brooklyn Gaming Chair?

We like a gaming chair or two here at MUO. Our collective posteriors have graced the cushions of several, including the AndaSeat Fnatic Edition, so we know a good gaming chair when we see one.

However, this doesn't just provide a comfortable surface to relax on when you're gaming. No, it provides you with a screen as well, so you don't even need to stand up to switch the TV on at the wall. Your chair will do it for you.

The screen looks like it follows a heavily curved form factor, which obviously adds to the immersion of the overall gaming experience. You also have multiple points of articulation and as much RGB Chroma as your retinas can handle.

Will We Ever See Project Brooklyn?

Who knows? Don't forget, this is just a concept. It could transform dramatically, or not even make it past CES 2021. However, if we as a gaming community hype it enough, then we may see something like this in the future.

Until then, we'll all have to make do with hi-def renders of Razer's ideas while we stare contemptuously at our hilariously basic gaming chairs.
