How can I make YouTube use all of my bandwidth?

ajax asks:

I am on a 1 Mbps connection but when watching YouTube videos, it only uses 50-60 Kbps or even less and so the video buffers. How can I make YouTube use all of my bandwidth?

Hello, no matter how fast your connection is, the video will always buffer.  With high speed connections you just don’t notice it too much.  Besides, if youtube server is under heavy load, it affects how fast their server can send/receive data.  You could either, try decreasing the quality to 240 p or try using youtube when their servers are in off peak hours.  If you have a half decent video card, you could also try using hardware acceleration.

I know it is not possible all the time but the best solution for you would be to upgrade your internet package.
