As a cleaner I thought it was alright, but not good enough so I uninstalled it. At least I thought I did. It starts with the computer but all the traces from it are hidden so I can't remove it.
I'm currently doing my best to remove this virus once and for all.

According to MajorGeeks.com's front man, Timothy, YAC is a powerful and very capable all-in-one cleaner. It includes a malware scanner, registry cleaner, junk files cleaner, and more. However, be careful with this program as it may clean necessary files which can cause errors and issues. If you are knowledgeable, you may be able to user this program with little issues, but if you are not knowledgeable in what files can and which files should not be deleted, stick to CCleaner and other programs that are much safer. If you really want a fairly safe all-in-one program, go with IObit Advanced System Care instead as it has moist of the same features, plus more.

I believe you would be better served if you used Ccleaner. Just be careful with the Registry settings.

in my opinion, it is- like the name suggests- yet another cleaner. In my experience, Piriform makes great software, their C-Cleaner is free and without adware. I'd stick with CC, but on another note, most cleaners can get your computer's registry all messed up, so watch out while trying them.

Agreed with Oron. Go with what's well known. CCleaner won't let you down, and its toolbar is easily ignored by going to the Slim installer at

I've never used it, so can't say definitively. However, reviews and info. on the internet seem to suggest the software itself is OK (but not brilliant) but at the same time, that it's bundled with adware and there may also be a virus masquarading as YAC.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with it. CCleaner is free, safe and does an excellent job. As a second tool - if I need one - Wise Disk Cleaner (and other Wise products) do a great job too. Why take the risk...
