What is wrong with my USB flash drive?

My Kingston USB flash drive of 32 GB is defect and creates folders of +-+-+-+-+-+- What is wrong with it?

    if usb key is infected with a malware then you should format, try HP format tool

    you have the wrong pendrive. did you buy it at a cheap price?

    My first guess would be that the stick was once removed without the "Safely Remove" 
    function (or properly ejecting it) while a write operation was still active and therefor corrupted the File System.

    I think a simple format should fix this problem (all data on the drive will be lost).

    Hello, is it possible for you to explain a little bit more?  It would help a great deal if you could post a capture screen of what you mean.  Is this a new flashdrive?  if not, Did it work ok before?
