Even when you are writing, re-read it, get critical with yourself, focus on finding your own style and your unique way of writing. Proofreading, also goes without saying, can’t take you seriously if we can’t understand you. Consistency helps too, find your niche, and what you find passion in writing about.

July 27, 2012I’ve got three tips that worked for me:
- Get some experience in writing. I once wrote a 140 page essay for school, and it has really taught me to both write more text but keep the story focused on the subject.
- Be sure to present your subject in readable chunks. With readable I mean that the reader isn’t overwhelmed with the size. Just break the subject down and give each chunk a clear header text (e.g. write the header in bold text).
- People will (partly unconsciously) assess your writing based on their feeling of how much you know about the subject. If you want to interest your readers, talk about stuff you know a lot about.
