I have a Lenovo S10e which runs Windows XP and it goes into standby mode all by itself. This happens randomly. It can go for weeks, hours or minutes between occurring. What is the problem and how can I stop it?

possibly There Is A Bios Setting Causing This? Turn Off All Power Management in The Bios If That's Possible.

or click the battery icon at the bottom of the screen to get into the power management screen. Or go to control panel and select power options or power management

    control panel
    power options
change the power scheme to 'always on'.

also Check the power settings under screensaver. You probably have your monitor and hard disks to shut off after xx min
