I have two USB Pen drives…both are from Transcend. Windows 7 recognizes one but not the other. What could be the cause?

well format the usb drive that is not been detected from your computer and again try to use it will get connected if not then try with other operating system if the same problem exist then there is some problem with your usb drive and if not then some or the other supporting file is missing.

If they are brand new the one may not be formatted. Right click on (My) Computer in the start menu and select "Manage"

The from the Management Console select Disk Management. Look at the list on the bottom right and make sure none of the "Removable Disks", your flash drives, have all unallocated space. They should all have some sort of partition with a drive letter. If one is only unallocated you should right click the unallocated space and choose to create a new partition.
