Why has my Vaio’s laptop fan started to run loud while gaming?

The fan of my E-series Vaio model ‘vpceb44en’ makes a lot of noise while playing games and games also play slow but it  used to work well. What has happened?

    hi

agreed with ha14, and if it still doesn't work, try refresh your windows from control panel and choose recovery ( if you are running windows 8),

Are you using it on your lap when you are gaming? Is it in a different place while you game? If so, that might be it. Or, it could be your laptop is getting dirty and Susendeep dutta is right. Clean it.

Also, has the game you play changed? If so, it might be making the laptop work harder. Which will heat it up more. Which will make the fan work harder.

In short, you need to clean your laptop from dust and apply a better quality heat paste to your processor for it to handle games. As processor heats up to a level,it throttle down its speed so you experience a slowdown in gaming performance.

perhaps driver problem, go to device manager locate graphic card driver, right click on it and choose uninstall (do not delete), reboot, windows will detect the hard drive and reinstall driver, then try to update to latest version
    .
if do not fix the problem:
    try to update BIOS
use compressed air to clean the fan
