Why doesn’t TrueCrypt work on my hard drive?

Aiko Hollmann asks:

I’ve downloaded TrueCrypt to encrypt my 320GB Hard drive obviously.

So I tried, it went everything well and it finished encrypting it. But as I wanted to test it on another computer, I could open it, as I hadn’t encrypted it. Can anyone help me? Has anyone a better idea or any solutions? THX :D
