Why does Windows 8.1 no longer recognize media libraries?

I upgraded to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8 Pro with Media Center (which I had to reinstall MCE later) just yesterday. It played music and videos well, until today.

It seems to no longer recognize all libraries (photos, music, videos), since WMP, Photos app, Music app, MCE, and Video app all can’t read anything, except when I manually play a file from Explorer.

Xbox Video gives this error: http://sdrv.ms/124QiLv.

I had to drag and drop everything onto WMP library, but VLC works fine anyway. Any idea?

Sorry it's already solved. Had to tinker around the navigation pane to show it.

I think that you are unable to find Libraries. You can find them under " This PC ".
