Why does the Google Play store always crash on my Android tablet?

Loren Ferrer Rosario asks:

I can open the Play store but after I open it, it comes back to the home screen then suddenly something appears saying “Google Play Store has stopped working”.

What do I do? Should I uninstall or disable it? When I bought this tablet it was already installed.

EKEN tablet which model?

So, all the models logically support App Market, so would suggest to update to the latest firmware from http://www.eken.com/support/ . If the issue still persists, get in touch with the support center at support@eken.com or Skype voice only ekenhk.

perhaps you will need to hard reset the tablet (this will erase all files so do a backup first). It can be wifi problem, are you able to browse internet after that Gogle Play Store crash?

Try some suggestions listed below -

Also,if your delete your Google account from your phone and add it again, then it would be helpful.

If still it doesn’t works, then perform a factory reset(but backup your important data first).

The Play store can be pretty heavy, so if clearing the cache doesn’t I’d try closing other programs before you open it. Best of luck.

Google Play settings clearing might work, Google account removing, then re-adding might work, one final suggestion is installing latest “google apps” from recovery, you can download from here : http://goo.im/

Some devices aren’t supported by Play Store, search for your exact device here: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/1727131 If it’s not there, there is no way to fix it.

This same crash has happened to my relatively new phone twice this month alone (third time since March)! Verizon says hard reboot, but when I refused, they connected me with a support “pro” who searched online & found a fix online. From your phone, do a search for “google play store app download”, & find the one at the androidpolice site to download on your phone. Luckily, I had downloaded Firefox on my phone, because Chrome quits working along with the Play Store. I am really getting sick of this app messing up. Google should be ashamed.
