Why does my Touchpad no longer work after I tried downloading Cyanogenmod?

GaabbyMariex3 asks:

Last night I was trying to download Android Cyanogenmod 9 to my HP Touchpad and it failed. I pulled the USB cable out of my TouchPad and a big white USB picture appears on the screen and the tablet would not turn off, so I forced it to shut down. Now when I plug it into the charger the charging symbol does not show up. Also, when plug it into my computer it is detected, but otherwise does not do anything. How can I fix my tablet?

Hold down the restart button and the home button at the same time for a while.

use webOS doctor to reinstall webOS

then you can try to reinstall Android Cyanogenmod 9

As per chicle_11…
Read this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show…426244&page=12

Pay special attention to page 12. It will show you how to do it without using novaterm. Also towards the beginning of the process you’ll get asked a lot of questions, just answer yes to all.
Good luck.
Hold power and volume up at the same time, this will get you into correct mode (recovery).
Edit : plug your tablet in for a few hours before trying the process.
