Why can’t I sync my Outlook.com tasks on my Android?

Fran Greene asks:

On my Android I want to sync my Outlook.com tasks. I used the server m.hotmail.com which is the only thing I can find on the web to enter. All I keep getting is “server not found” error messages.

Use the Outlook.com client for Android from Microsoft at from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.outlook.Z7&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5vdXRsb29rLlo3Il0. for the emails sync. For calendar use Google Calendar and configure it just with your outlook.com email ID and password. You can download Google Calendar from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.calendar&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nb29nbGUuYW5kcm9pZC5jYWxlbmRhciJd
