Why can’t I put music on my iPod after updating it?

So I updated my iPod and tried to sync some new music on to it. It went through the process of syncing but when I ejected it the iPod says there is no music. I have restored it, uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes and got nothing.

I have a Windows 7 64 bit PC and the latest iTunes. Any help would be appreciated!

I am not a fan of iTunes. Some of the programs I have tried with different iDevices are listed below. Good luck solving your issues.

Sorry, I missed this. If you have tried adding music to your iPod using any third party app like sharepod, then you have all chance to get no music in your library and iTunes will reject your device and ask for resetting. It happened wid my iPad and I had to reset it back. Thanks god, I had the backup...

Have you tried copying music to your iPod using any other softwares like sharepod etc? Well try resetting your iPod. I hope you have a backup of your device in your PC. Or before that. Try adding music manually. Open iTunes, choose your device name, under summary tab, at the end, you'll find a check box written manually manage your music and videos (well it may not be the actual thing which is written, may be something similar to it) so check the box and click on the music tab under your device name and drag and drop music from your pc. See if it is getting added. Or else you'll have to go for resetting. Well the latest version of iOS is 6.1.3 (as per my iPad) and till now, I found no bugs in it.
