Prince Kumar asks:
I am uninstalling CyberLink YouCam, but there is an error message saying required installation file is missing (SKRSet.xml).
I deleted the location file C://programe file/cyberlink/youcam first, then uninstalled.

May 26, 2012Either the missing file SKRSet.xml was located in the directory you deleted or the installation may have been corrupt in the first place. In general you should always use the uninstaller first and then delete the remainings.
I suggest to reinstall YouCam and then use the uninstaller before deleting manually. If you still have errors I suggest to contact the CyberLink support. They can offer you the proper CyberLink Cleaner (clcleaner-…) download for your version of YouCam.

May 27, 2012the simple problem is if you want to uninstall a program then you must have it installed somewhere….
it is same as installation, where you already have a package from which the files are installed…
during uninstall, the program retrieves required data and roll back changes,…
But if you have already deleted those files, its gone, but you will still see it in “ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS” in CONTROL PANEL and you CANNOT remove it…
so better uninstall first and then remove the leftover files….
One good program is REVO uninstaller

May 28, 2012The uninstall package needs the program package to be able to uninstall it, otherwise it can’t find the program or necessary files to let it know it was installed, or it won’t know where to look for what it is supposed to do. Never delete any part of the program before uninstalling, it will break the uninstaller, use Reco Uninstaller as suggested as it will delete everything for you.
thanks dud. the problame is resolved………… reco uninstaller is very helpful.

June 4, 2012I am uninstalling CyberLink YouCam, but there is an error message saying required installation file is missing (SKRSet.xml)
If you have the CyberLink YouCam setup files then use that to re-install/repair it and then uninstall it
or get the latest version of cyberlink Youcam then click on it and possibly will tell you that will uninstall the older version before continuing the install of the new version, so say YES, then after uninstall just stop the installation of the new version.
June 6, 2012Did you tried the tool present in the link below -
