My phone runs Android 2.3.6. An app transferred to SD card does not appear in apps menu when phone is re-started. The menu shows or displays only those apps in the phone memory.

November 16, 2012is you memory card mounted correct! if the SD card is not mounted, the apps which are in the memory card will not be shown!

November 16, 2012how did you transferred the app to sd card, do you have other apps on sd card and they appear in apps menu?
perhaps the sd card is corrupted and need to be format.

November 21, 2012when you boot your android it has to mount the sd card which takes a short time
or you have incompatable apps
or its not properly mounted

December 6, 2012Android app menu will show only installed apps. Install it first if uninstalled. If that doesn’t work, re mount your SD card. If it still doesn’t work, move it to another directory and retry.
