Where is ‘subscribe by email about new uploads’ pop-up after YouTube redesign?

Osama Javaid asks:

Before YouTube redesign , there was a pop-up that used to appear when you subscribed to a channel on YouTube. There was an option about ‘notify with email about each new upload’. But after the redesign, it stopped appearing when you subscribed. What to do now?

Apparently you have to go to “My Subscription” (at the left sidebar) > click on “Manage … Subscriptions” (at top right of the subscription list) > you will have the option to choose which channel to receive “Email with new uploads”.

Click on your avatar icon in the top right of the screen. Choose Settings.

Then on the left hand side, click Email under Account Settings.

Click on Subscription Manager in the middle of the page.

Then you can check the checkboxes for the email notifications you want.

Hopefully this helps. Have a good day!

On any video page go to click guide> my subscriptions
Then click the arrow in the top right corner of the channel you want to get an email from and they offer you a couple different options: one is to have an email sent to you for each new upload.
