Joe Videtto asks:
I’m looking to develop an iPad app, but only have a Windows machines (along with an iPad).
What website provides the most reliable step-by-step procedure to set this up ? Are there any ‘gotchas’ to be on the lookout for ?

June 8, 2012almost all good websites say that apps for your idevices can be made best on a mac. But still there are some tips for windows. Visit these sites:

geeknizer.com/how-to-develop-iphone-apps-on-windows/
you can also go for installing the hackintosh to your windows

June 8, 2012Really, you need Mac OS on your computer to develop well, but you don’t need a Mac per se’. You can create a Virtual Machine much more easily than building a machine:

June 8, 2012Others here have covered the options available, bar one notable exception: The iOS Build Environment by Pierre-Marie Baty. This offering is unique, I think, in that it doesn’t simplify, wrap or require you to send code elsewhere for compilation. Just download Visual Studio Express, install this and away you go. From the page:
You may write your code in Objective-C, but also in C++, in C and ARM assembly as well.
This, I think, is as close as you’ll get to the XCode experience – if you’re ever planning on going Mac, do this.
For a mere $30, it’s easy enough to shrug off if you change your mind.

June 8, 2012No website will show you how, because it cant be done. At least, while you can program in objective C on Windows, you can’t actually compile and submit your app to the app store without a Mac.
can we post apps to app store using hackintosh? (I don’t have it, js asking)
June 8, 2012Sure, i dont see why not. there is no licensing in OSX. You still need a developer account though, of course.
