Try converting the webpages into .pdf files using http://www.pdfmyurl.com or you can do try following if you are using Internet Explorer 7 or higher. http://windows.microsoft.com/is-is/windows-vista/save-a-webpage-as-a-file
Chrome App from chrome web store, its the best.
I use Read it Later (now pocket http://getpocket.com/ ) and it is really good but I used HTTrack also (http://www.httrack.com/ ) and it is also a good alternative.
I also think the software which better fits to your needs is HTTrack Website Copier. I use it and it's reliable. And it has a portable version.
You can use Opera browser. Just go to the website normally and press Ctrl-S.
Use HTTrack Website Copier. It's the best free software for saving websites. I have once used it to download whole W3Schools Website.
you can try pocket as well, which is really easy to use and the websites can be accessed from anywhere and can be stored for offline viewing.
Use HTTrack Website Copier. It is a free download from http://www.httrack.com/
And for iOS:
I'll try ,,, thanks anyway :)
