What is the best budget laptop for multimedia use?
My budget is $USD600-$700.

    You don't say whether you are looking for better battery life or better performance. I will gine one example of each. As mentioned above Haswell will bring performance increases with better battery life but then again they are not readily available yet. I suspect you are asking because you need it now. Good luck.

      I forgot to mentioned that, sorry. I'm looking for better perfomance great processor, huge hard disk space and of course a big screen to get things done smoothly . ASUS K55ADS71 looks better than SONY SVT131314CXS, thank you for your suggestions I really apperaciate it.

    Since,Intel's Haswell line of processors has been unveiled by Intel,you must wait for it to be launched in laptops.If you has read online reviews of laptops,you has noticed that Intel based laptops tops in performance but at the price of battery life.Also,one thing to be noted that they are cut down versions of desktop counterparts.

    Haswell processors promises 50% increase in battery life over predecessors.
