I want to know

1) Best free softwares which would OCR a PDF file and embed the resulting text on the PDF file (for Windows)

2) Best reliable free PDF compressor with various options like low/medium/high compression level without much quality loss (for Windows)

Please help

Thanks in advance!!

Hello, I'd try Adobe 11 itself; I seem very good and fast to do the job :) What about a comparative table? Bye.

Free OCR generates text from PDF , but I want to embed that text (in a hidden manner) into PDF such that when I open PDF file & right click-->select tool , then I can select the text of PDF file.
I need such kind of software for PDF
