What software can easily scan many business cards?

I wondered if there was software that I could use as a repository for my business cards. I’m slowly scanning my filing cabinets on to my hard drives and would like to eliminate my box of accumulated business cards. They really don’t need to become contacts, although I’m not opposed to that. I’d just like a nice way to manage them other than a collection of jpgs.

Thanks for your attention.

ABBYY Business Card Reader is available for Windows, iOS and Android. The Windows version works with ordinary scanners, whereas the portable apps use the camera's own device.
Although I've not used this particular software, I *have* used Abbyy OCR products for many years, and consider them the best on the market (even better than Nuance's products, although others may disagree). I can't imagine you could go wrong with them.

    Sheryl,

What I suggest would be using the Evernote app on your phone (that is if you have a smartphone), if you don't you can still take photos of them with your phone and send them as picture mail to your Evernote email.

I have a Evernote notebook dedicated to business cards that I have. Evernote also has OCR capability, which allows it to read text in an image.

    Hope this helps!
