Joseph Videtto asks:
What software can be used to scramble the faces of people in a video ? Free or low-cost software is preferable, but not a requirement. I seem to recall Google doing some work in this area, but do not know if they made the technology available to the public.
Please share your experiences in using and comparing different software for this purpose, and why you chose the software you did.
As always – thanks MUO for making these useful forum, and thanks to all you experienced techies that so generously share your knowledge : )

January 30, 2013YouTube does this now; just upload, click edit, and use the blur tool to identify and blur faces.

But wouldn’t Youtube still get hold of unblurred copy of the video when user uploads it!!?
