January 25, 2013I personally use Oxygen, which goes well with a lot of different types of blog.
It allows for a header at the top of the page, which I have ulilised to create a professional and eye-catching image which explains my blog’s content. I’m sure you could do it too, with images and text relating to books.
It has clean sidebars on both the left and the right of the main homepage. On the left, I personally use categories arranged hierarchically. I have also added a “Follow by email” button.
On the left I have connected the blog’s social networks, which provides a Facebook “like” button as well as a Twitter “follow” button with the last five tweets. The default widgets can be arranged superbly to fit your blog.
The most recent posts all arrange themselves in the middle of the screen, with the title, author, and first thirty or so words. You can choose to add a ‘featured image’ for the post itself, which is eye-grabbing.
You can see how I pull it off at my blog, http://avtechteam.net/. For a simple theme it provides a lot of function and personalisation.
i don’t like oxygen i feel like it is very simple i have better themes but not good enough .
