I have been searching the best online translation websites, but I can say most of them are trash websites whose translations are not good at all. Please kindly share your opinions.

It translates very nicely, but it seems to be simply a re-wrap of Bing Translate.

I agree with James and others up to a point. It really is a question of why you need the translation, and what language pair you want to translate. Google Translate works moderately well with some language combinations and subject matters, as long as your expectations are modest.

I do some translation myself, and use it as an aid as it's good for finding idiomatic translation for certain phrases. On the other hand, the results can _never_ be taken as a finished product. I used to use NiceTranlsator, but since they changed the translation engine to Bing have given up on it.

Google Translator(http://translate.google.com/) is the best available translation tool as it supports wide variety of languages.

If you want a precise translation then human translators are the best. Back in the old days (mid 1990's) there were people that volunteered their time to translate documents. Maybe some still do it for free.

But for just getting the jist of what a document or blog post is about you can't beat Google Translator. Google Chrome has it built-in and in Firefox the S3 Google Translator add-on is the best.

You can post a document to be translated on Duolingo. http://www.duolingo.com/translations

I second what James said. Anything that you will find for free on the "Net will give a literal translation. For a "good" translation you need an idiomatic one and that takes a human.

I agree with the James, It is really not a nice idea to use automated software to inter translate the things. It is always better to use some writer because some times really it gives you horrible result: Try some thing on google translator and try to covert back into original you will see some funny outcome. However I can suggest you some good website where many native writers are ready to translate per hour basis.

One good website you can use http://www.assignmenthelp.net/services and choose option writing service.

    Enjoy

There are no good automated translation services because translating something correctly requires a human (and hence, a cost). Much of language is inferred, cultural references or unspoken. Translation services are there to give you a rough guide only; you need to learn a language to be able to understand it as fully intended. Google Translate is about as good as it gets, I'm afraid.

What languages are you looking to get translated? If its Punjabi, a good website is http://punjabihindionline.com. I am not sure if they do other languages as well, but you can always ask them.
