The screen is split into 4 parts, 2 parts showing full screen, and other 2 half screen before ‘hitting’ the edge of screen. The split screen problem appears at POST, so this should be a hardware problem.

Which part is broken? Processor, motherboard or screen?

The laptop uses Intel HD graphics.

graphic card problem update driver, go to device manager, right click on graphic card driver choose uninstall (do not delete) and reboot.

    perhaps this was activated?
To arrange your open windows, right-click an empty area of the taskbar, then click Cascade windows, Show windows stacked, or Show windows side by side.
