Which version of iOS are you using? Not sure if you tried anything in this article, but it may not pertain to you if you have iOS 5 installed.

Here is for iOS 5: http://modmyi.com/forums/general/801285-iphone-3gs-ios5-0-1-booting-loop-unable-fix.html

If all else fails take it to the apple store if possible. Even if you don’t have any warranty left they will usually be happy to help you out

This software called Tiny Umbrella will allow you to kick your phone out of a recovery loop.

Download the stock ISPW for your model (usually either 4.2.1 or 5.0.1) and either try flashing it with redsn0w or Shift + Click the restore button in iTunes and specify your downloaded ISPW.

Not a guaranteed fix, but worth a shot.

Cheers =]

No way but to restore it into factory settings! Before that, connect it with your PC to backup all your data on it, or youo will lose all of them!

I did a 6.0 jailbreak on 6.0.1 (I know, totally stupid and I should of never done it!) and no tools helped me. I tried everything but what worked for me was plugging it into a PC (I sync my iPhone with a Mac) that I have never synced before and restore it on there. Everything went perfect, no errors (I used to get errors before when I tried to restore it on my own computer) and it went really smooth. If this happens to you, try it!
