Thus the major difference is in their methods of communication. Facebook is more passive and Twitter is more active in the way you engage with your network of contacts.
To quote an analogy – Twitter has been likened to a giant party where you know no one but wish to make many friends. In contrast, Facebook would be a wedding reception filled with family and friends.

but Twitter lets u only share links , information and there u can only upload ur status
I am using both from a very long time but I find that facebook is much better !

However twitter has its good points considering you can post as many tweets as you like cause thats what twitter is for. If you were to constantly post statuses on Facebook like people tweet it would begin to get annoying.

Since Facebook has more integrated features,it will also give you more spam and annoying post while in twitter the new tweet will replace the old one quickly,which means you will have to do a lot of scrolling or advance search to find old tweet
