I just got this laptop yesterday. It’s a Lenovo and everything works fine. I went to Skype and it wouldn’t load my webcam. I can see other people, but mine just shows the picture.
When I go to webcam settings, it just loads, that’s it. My webcam is built in and if it’s disabled I don’t know how to enable it again. I’m not good with computers, so if you can help, I would appreciate it soooo much.

February 25, 2012The third party software like windows firewall and antivirus. Just disable it while using the Skype and see if this helps?

In Skype
•If the microphone is not recognized, go to Skype > Tools > Options > Audio Settings > Microphone
•Select Microsoft default device
•Uncheck “Automatically adjust audio settings”

Reset Your Skype Settings
