Do you know how/where to download the VLC Player for the iPod Touch as it has been removed from the Apple app store? Thanks!

VLC is available through Cydia if your iPod is jailbroken. It's in the default modmyi repository that comes with Cydia. This is probably the only way to get a supported version of it. If you're interested, but don't know how to jailbreak, you can check jailbreakmatrix.com ( http://www.jailbreakmatrix.com ) to find instructions on doing so with your firmware version.

In general it should work to get the VLC*.ipa file from anyone out there and then drag&drop it into the Apps section of iTunes.

The file is located within the iTunes Library
