Is there any vertical tabs add-on for Chrome similar to Firefox’s Tree Style add-on?

I've just released a vertical-sidebar Tree Style Tabs extension for Chrome that does most of what the Firefox Tree Style Tabs extension does, plus some other cool features like "tab hibernation". http://www.sidewise.info

    Try these extensions :

    Tabs manager:

    Vertical tabs:

Not sure about tree style, but both of them adds features like :
vertical tabs, search in tabs , and moving tabs.

Looks like this experimental feature was removed.

Extensions can't modify Chrome's tab system, so, unfortunately, you're out of luck.

Here's an explanation from Google as to why they removed it: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=99332#c25

Yes the feature is removed from chrome://flags,

But vertical tab and tab manager extensions can add some useful features,
I installed them to test for this question, but now they will be permanent in my chrome :)

Yup, they're an option. But they don't replace Chrome's tab bar, like the flag used to (and like the Firefox extensions do for Firefox.)

          Yes, you are right.

The feature these extensions add is not vertical tabs,
it is more similar to, the drop down list of tabs, ?
on the extreme right in firefox.

but it's safer than disabling updates and using an old version I guess.

To enable vertical tabs, right click any shortcut to Chrome and select Properties.
    /Applications/Google Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google Chrome --enable-vertical-tabs

to re-enable vertical tabs (side tabs) is to roll back to an older version of Chrome.
